About us
A new company with long experience.
Gabel Metall- und Stahlbau GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 2026 with the team, machines and experience of Metallbau Kaupert. Since August 2026, we have been fabricating in our 360 m² (3,875 sq ft) shop in Schmalkalden.
Design and detailing (CAD) are done in-house; structural calculations are provided by external structural engineers. We also install on request.

We are certified to EN 1090, the European standard for steel structures, up to execution class EXC3. Our welding certificate and factory production control (FPC) are issued to Gabel Metall- und Stahlbau GmbH & Co. KG.
